Well worth watching this interesting video showing what to expect when you buy a CB radio handset these days. 

Of course CB handsets have a very limited range due to the tiny antennas and you really need to invest in a longer antenna or get yourself up to the top of hill to get the most out of it. Even then, making contacts on a CB handset can be very challenging as stations tend to be spread far and wide. It's not like the 'good old days' when there were a hundred operators in every square mile!

Personally I do like it, but I think that it will be a little bit fiddly to use with my big hands. I also think that this radio will probably be better leaving as a stock, legal set. I don't think that it will make a very good export radio. I guess that time will tell. Anyway, enjoy the video....
