The Anytone Ares II has a built in VHF receiver which is used in North America to the emergency weather channels, however it is possible to program the 'weather channels' to any VHF frequency between 144MHz and 170MHz. So I programmed my radio with the Space Station frequency of 145.800 to see if I could pick anything up.
