A first look video from Scott's Radios of the new K-PO DX 5000 PLUS who appears to be operating in a very noisy environment. The new NRC (Noise Reduction Circuit) certainly seems to make a significant improvement to the receive on this new radio. 

Sounding very much like the Digital Noise Reduction on a Ham Radio, the NRC is likely to be the new 'killer feature' appearing on several new CB/10m radios in the coming months.

K-PO DX 5000 PLUS 'In Stock'

 

The new K-PO DX 5000 PLUS 10/11m radio is now in stock on the K-PO website and should be making it's way across Europe in the coming days. 

Thunderpole are the official K-PO dealer here in the UK and they tell me that they are expecting stock soon, although they have not been given a firm date as yet. 

As you can see the price on the K-PO website is €189.95 which equates to around £158 although we very rarely see a direct conversion of prices here in the UK so I'm expecting it to be a little higher than that!

It would appear that President have released further details of their new multimode CB radio, The President George II.

The European price of the new K-PO DX 5000 PLUS has been revealed by one website to be €189 which equates to £161

That price does seem very fair especially if the new Noise Reduction Circuit works well. 

It will be interesting to see how the price actually converts into GBP here in rip-off Britain.

The radio should be available soon.
