Ten meters is a "large " band, 28.0 to 29.7 Mhz. If the frequency assignment data above is correct, 10 meter will be in 4 "channels": D, F, H, and I. Twelve meters is a much smaller band, 24.890 to 24990 Mhz. All of this band is within "channel" L. Use of 10 and 12 meters will likely be by use of the VFO mode (what's new) unless memory freq. is assigned to a number in appropriate channel. That is how I run my HF base now, favorite freq. in memory and VFO for CQ hunting. 73 N4IFJ
i want 11 meters in my president lincoln 11--i was told to get a 1-k resistor but what is the watt of this resistor ???? gerrybrown209@gmail.com thanks
I know I’m late to the game here but can anyone tell me what the underscore/underline character under the frequency means on the lcd screen? I just noticed it yesterday and it moves from position to position based on what frequency the radio is set to.
Hi Im what you put uk fm 40 channel on this radio by changing band C is this possible as i can not find anywhere in the software to list the frequency to i can make the changes, radio is link to computer no problem.
Does this mod allow use of 10 and 12 meter while also allowing CB? Or does it override one or the other radio bands with the CB band?
ReplyDeleteLook at above illustrations
Delete10,11,and 12 opens it all.

DeleteReally? I heard you need 1K ohm resistor 1/4W 5% Tolerance Carbon Film Resistor. Where did you see 2 Watts?
