Hi there I have one of these, not very nice to look at but it works pretty well, I bought it mainly for 4 meters, the US version has 10 meters instead, once you get used to it its pretty easy to use, i'm told the transmit audio is pretty good, it has 3 power levels, 4 if you alter the menu setting, has kinda memory blocks as well as the proper memory, can be used for repeaters ctcss etc..beware the instruction book you get will probably be the wrong one, they all are, but you can work round it, the online one although more updated is very short, so its best to use the original book and work around things best you can...yes its an ok radio...fair bit of money, but the Yaesu, Kenwood and Icom don't make anything like it...from Fred g4vvq in Essex Uk.
