Ham Radio At The BBC - G8BBC


The BBC now has an Amateur Radio station based in Broadcasting House in central London. Broadcasts will be made under the special callsign G8BBC.


The station was officially launched today by the BBC Director General, Tony Hall, along with local Amateur Radio operators. 




Also at the launch were the team from TX Factor who will be featuring the new station in their next episode. 

The station plans to operate on 40m-10m and also on 2m so listen out and see if you can get them in the log.
