An interesting idea from "Mikedabike Faulkner" on Facebook who is now able to operate Mobility Scooter Mobile!
He has fitted out his mobility scooter with a Harvard CB radio on the UK40 FM band and he also operates on PMR446.
He even has solar panels for extra power for those long activations.
However the antenna system needs some improvement....
He has plans to fit a fishing pole with a T2LT antenna on the back of the scooter for those long range contacts!
So listen out for Mike who operates with the callsign 163CT1666 from Sarn, near Bridgend in South Wales, and see if you can get him in the log!
