Amateur Radio Licensing Changes Announced by Ofcom

 

From today, amateur radio users in the UK will enjoy greater operating freedoms under amateur radio licensing changes announced by Ofcom.

The main change is that the power limits have been increased:

Foundation: New power limit is 25w PEP (From 10w)

Intermediate: New power limit is 100w PEP (From 50w)

Full: New power limit is 1000w PEP (From 400w)
